A Chihuahua is a low maintenance dog with regard to their coat. There is no need to take your Chihuahua to a groomer. The Chihuahua will appreciate a daily brushing to remove any loose hair. You might think a longcoat is harder to care for but it isnt!
I would suggest that the hair on the bottom of the feet is trimmed regularly for better grip when walking, running and playing.
My dogs are my pets first and foremost. They have free run of my kitchen, laundry room, rec room and breakfast nook. I have a spare bedroom for any mommies and puppies looking for peace and quiet. They spend a ton of time in my back yard under my supervision. Here are a couple of shots I captured recently of them romping around.
